What is the worst part about having a brother with Down syndrome? Not being able to do regular stuff like play catch or play sports with him.
What would you do if someone made fun of Riley for having Down syndrome? I'd beat them up. ;-) Mom don't type that.
I'd say it wasn't nice or funny to make fun of someone with a Disability and then I'd explain what Down syndrome is.
How would it make you feel? Sad.
What would you tell a friend that was worried about having a brother with Down syndrome? Umm, that there is nothing to worry about. When you have a brother with Down syndrome you can do pretty much all the same stuff you just have to do it one step at a time.
What do you think about Riley going to a different school? I'm fine with it. Then the kids don't remind me about how great he is all the time.
Do your friends ask questions about Riley and Down syndrome or tell you he bugs them? No, if anything its the opposite. They say he's awesome and hilarious.
Do you get tired of hearing how cute or funny he is? Yes! Especially from the girls in my class. They go on and on about how cute and awesome he is. Ya... no he's not. You try living with him.
What do you think about hanging out with friends like Hunter that have a sister with Down syndrome? Its makes it kinda nice that I have someone that can relate.
Do you and Hunter talk about Riley and Ella? Nope
